Solange, hair dresser and content where she lives, Brasilia, receives the opportunity to change her life - a ticket to New York. There, she discovers that the life of an immigrant has none of the glamour that she imagined, and loneliness becomes her faithful companion. Even so, she dreams of saving up enough to pay for her tuition and improve her profession, besides obtaining permission to stay in the US as a student. But as time passes and with her tourist visa expiring, Solange becomes involves in a series of events that will lead her to crime and losing herself.
